Lynette Chan: Model and Poker Celebrity

Lynette Chan is one of the prettiest opponents you can face across you at poker, but she's also one of the most dangerous ones. Relatively young on the poker scene, as Lynette Chan only appeared on the professional scene, rapidly become famous for being a friendly and skilled face. Full Tilt Poker, an online poker site, quickly teamed up with Lynette, bringing her into the fold along with other beautiful poker celebrities and woman to create a powerful team.

While she is genetically Chinese, Canada had the pleasure of seeing her be raised and grow into a fine young woman. Lynette was a marketing executive long before she was a poker celebrity. Most people would take to shock when they discover that this beauty quit that high paying job to play poker full time, as it was beginning to affect her so called poker career. Lynette Chan has also been known to call poker liberating.

Her poker gaming rampage only began four years ago. Lynette would move to Las Vegas in an effort to play at the higher stakes tables. Money came in through cash games rather than tournaments, though she would quickly move on to those as her skills and bankroll grew in size and power. Full Tilt Poker would be host to her online gambling forays, which even signed her and supported her run at the 2006 World Series of Poker Tournament. This was after only eight months of play at Las Vegas. For those interested in doing the same, it would be wise to follow her example.

Lynette, as a poker celebrity, did the wisest thing possible and measured her money according to her skill. She would first start at the six and twelve blinds before moving on to ever increasing blinds and bets, moving along almost fearlessly as her skills and abilities grew. This is a fine example of knowing her limits and skills, demanding of herself that she acclaim significant success before she dared to move on to more skilled opponents.

True to form, Lynette has signed on to a modeling agency that would increase and supplement her poker income. While she has done some modeling over a few months, she has been heard to declare that poker is her one true profession and that she would never leave it to go modeling.

There's more to her than just poker however, but that's for her friends and family to know.
